Modified instruction alters the instructional delivery by providing smaller group sizes. Instruction occurs in a self contained special classroom setting, with opportunities, as appropriate, for academic mainstreaming. Instruction is geared towards the accomplishment of the goals and objectives that are stated on each student’s Individual Educational Plan.
